Leadership Team

Martello™ was established by Candice and Rory Hammer, both experienced property entrepreneurs with a penchant for architecture and interior design.

Candice Hammer, Director
During her tenure at Australia’s most successful online marketplace for real estate, Candice discovered her passion for developing and investing in property. This led her to build a multi-million-dollar property portfolio and to the launch of Martello ™, turning Candice’s passion into a thriving business.

Candice’s eye for detail and design expertise brings a unique approach to each Martello™ project, from site purchase through to delivery. With strategic, in-depth knowledge of Melbourne’s property market and significant experience partnering with investors and landowners to deliver high-quality projects, Candice continually delivers projects to an exceptional standard.

Rory Hammer, Director
With 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing and people management across a range of industries, Rory focuses on issues critical for the successful delivery of the Martello™ strategy such as people and culture, financial performance, network development and management of risk. With his effective strategic guidance, natural aptitude for property development, and extensive local network, Rory’s influence continues to strengthen the Martello™ brand and its operations, while continuing to efficiently build long-term value for clients and stakeholders.

Candice and Rory are also passionate Brighton residents, and members of Carlton in Business, which advocates fervently for the support of small local businesses in the Bayside community.
